1. Create a reminder
Just text NudgeDog like you'd text a friend. There's nothing to learn — say what you need to remember, and NudgeDog figures out the timing.
NudgeDog understands different kinds of reminders and handles each the right way:
Things to do (no set time)
Text something like "buy milk," "email Bob," or "call the dentist tomorrow." NudgeDog reminds you at the right time — and anything still open shows up on your Morning Digest at 8:30 every morning until you reply DONE. You can hint at timing too — "this morning," "this afternoon," "tonight."
Errands
Text "pick up milk on the way home" or "grab dog food when I get home." NudgeDog times the reminder for the end of your day, when it's actually useful — not first thing in the morning.
Appointments at a set time
Text "dentist at 10am Friday," "flight at 6pm," or "call with Sarah at 3." NudgeDog reminds you before it starts so you're not already late — about 45 minutes ahead for appointments, and earlier for flights.
Quick timers
Text "remind me in 20 minutes to check the oven" and NudgeDog fires right on time.
2. Mark a reminder done
When you've handled it, just tell NudgeDog — and the nudging stops.
You can reply DONE — or anything that means the same thing: did it, all done, finished, handled, taken care of, got it. Keep it short.
3. Drop a reminder you no longer need
Changed your mind? Tell NudgeDog to let it go.
Text SKIP or DROP — or say it naturally: nevermind, forget it, skip it, drop it, not doing it. Same as DONE, if you've got several going, add a word like "SKIP groceries."
4. Change a reminder's time
Need to move it? Just say when.
Text "change to 4pm," "change to evening," or even "change to after lunch" — NudgeDog re-times it. If it's not sure what time you mean, it'll ask.
5. Want NudgeDog to nag you harder?
For the stuff you really tend to put off, ask NudgeDog to stay on you.
Just include a phrase like "bug me," "nag me," "keep reminding me," "don't let me forget," or "pester me" in your reminder. NudgeDog will follow up more often (still kindly) until you reply DONE.
6. Quiet hours
NudgeDog won't text you in the middle of the night. Quiet hours are 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Any reminder that would land overnight is moved to 8:00 AM, so you'll never get a 3 AM nudge.
7. Manage your plan
Upgrade, downgrade, cancel, or update your card anytime.
Text PLAN, BILLING, UPGRADE, or MANAGE, and NudgeDog sends you a secure link to your billing page where you can change or cancel your plan.
Only the reminders you create count toward your monthly limit — nudges and follow-ups are free. If you near your limit, NudgeDog gives you a heads-up; if you hit it, your existing reminders keep running and you can upgrade anytime.
